The Shape
of Thinking
Visual Identity
Visual identity for Martine Dustin — art historian, researcher, and storyteller.
Martine’s work is rooted in deep thought and bold perspective shifts — unearthing connections between past and present, and making complex ideas accessible, alive, and relevant. Our challenge was to create a visual language that reflects this distinctive voice: rigorous yet poetic, grounded yet open to reinterpretation.
The identity plays with themes of perception, legacy, and intellectual ownership — inviting viewers to see the familiar from a new angle. Inspired by the conceptual gestures of artists like Piero Manzoni, we explored visual metaphors that subtly invert, reframe, and reposition what we think we know.
At its core, this system becomes a platform — a base — for Martine’s ideas to land, expand, and resonate. It’s not just a visual identity, but a space for transmission: where thought travels, shifts, and finds new ground.
